Installation instructions for installing IBM SPSS version 24 are available below for both Microsoft Windows and the Mac.
Windows Installation Instructions
The provided link provides an installation file for use on computers running Microsoft Windows. Download the software here.
In the process of downloading the software you will receive a message from Google Drive that the software couldn't be scanned for viruses. This is normal because of the file type and size, select Download Anyway. After downloading the software run the program to install SPSS v24.
Once the software is installed you will need to complete the activation steps below. These need to be performed before the software can be used.
Activating your SPSS Installation
Run the License Authorization Wizard located in IBM/SPSS folder in the All Programs List and follow these steps as shown below for entering and applying the SPSS license/authorization code. Select Next to continue with each step until you are prompted to enter an authorization code.
When prompted for an authorized user license, use ee6e9984e44b144d502b
You can copy and paste this code if you'd like. Once the code is entered, select Next to continue.
The installation is now complete, please close SPSS to complete the license activation. You can now run SPSS by selecting it within your programs list.
Mac Installation Instructions
To download the MAC version of SPSS 24 click here

Once downloaded open the file name SPSS_Statistics_24_mac.dmg (this is the image installation file)
Open the SPSS_Statistics_Installer to perform the installation.
If prompted to open the application that was downloaded from the Internet, select Open.
If prompted enter the username and password of an account on your Mac that is an administrator.
Click Open to accept the app that was downloaded.
Several installation steps will follow, you can select OK or Next on each one to accept defaults.
Select Install to complete the installation.
Select Done, this will automatically start the program.
Select License Product.
Select Next to setup the SPSS license.
When prompted for an authorized user license, use ee6e9984e44b144d502b
You can copy and paste this code if you'd like. Once the code is entered, select Next to continue.
You should receive a message that license activation was successful. Select Next.
The installation and license activation is complete. Select Finish.
